Oral Presentation

General Information

  • The time allocated for each oral presentation is indicated in the Program. Please note that this includes a short discussion (up to 5 minutes, depending on the presentation length).
  • Speakers and session chairs are kindly requested to strictly follow the scheduled time.
  • A timekeeper will be assigned for each session.

Presentation Format

  • Accepted file formats: PowerPoint (.pptx/.ppt) or PDF.
  • Recommended slide aspect ratio: 16:9 (preferred); 4:3 is also supported.

Images and Videos

  • Preferred image format: JPG; other accepted formats: GIF, TIF, BMP, PNG, and PDF.
  • Recommended resolution: up to 300 dpi — higher resolutions just increase file size without improving on-screen quality.
  • Please compress images to the recommended resolution for optimal performance.
  • If your presentation includes video content, please test it in advance with our technical team to verify proper embedding and format compatibility.

Presentation Submission

  • Please bring your presentation on a USB flash drive or external hard drive (USB-A or USB-C) and submit it to the technical staff in the lecture hall at least one hour before your session begins

Before Your Session

  • Arrive at the lecture hall at least 15 minutes before your session begins
  • Follow instructions from the session chairs and/or technical staff
  • A remote slide control will be available.

Using Your Own Computer

  • While we prefer presentations to be run from our computer, you may use your own PC or Mac if necessary.
  • Mac users: please bring a suitable HDMI adapter, just in case

Poster Presentation

Format

The required format for poster presentation is a printed hard copy. In addition, authors are encouraged to submit an optional electronic version (e-Poster) in PDF format to secretariat@icsa2025.org, which will be made accessible at the conference website.

Each poster should include the following sections:

  • Introduction
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusions

Poster Size and Preparation

  • Poster board dimensions: 95 cm (width) × 238 cm (height)
  • Recommended poster size: 80 cm × 120 cm
  • Printed posters must be on quality paper to ensure clear visibility
  • Each board will display the assigned poster number
  • If you would like the organizers to print your poster, please notify us and send a high-resolution PDF to secretariat@icsa2025.org no later than September 10. The printing fee is 15 EUR, payable directly at the registration desk.

Presentation and Attendance

  • Posters will be displayed in the poster and exhibition area (in front of the lecture hall) throughout the entire conference.
  • All poster presenters are kindly requested to be present during their assigned poster session.
  • Posters presented by graduate students will be eligible for the Best Student Poster Award.
