General Information
We are pleased to invite you to submit abstracts for the 9th International Conference on Silicon in Agriculture (ICSA 2025). In addition to invited plenary and keynote presentations, you please choose the type of presentation you wish to submit your abstract for.
- Oral Presentation (10-15 minutes)
- Poster Presentation
Abstracts will be evaluated based on scientific content, relevance, quality, and originality. The Scientific Committee will review all submissions and notify authors about the presentation format (oral/poster) after evaluation.
All accepted abstracts will be published in a dedicated Book of Abstracts, which will be available exclusively in electronic format to help reduce paper consumption.
The authors of accepted abstracts will have the opportunity to submit their full manuscripts for consideration in special issues of Plant and Soil, subject to a peer-review process.
Important Dates
- Abstract Submission Deadline: June 1, 2025
- Notification of Acceptance: by July 15, 2025
- Registration Deadline for Presenting Author: August 15, 2025
Abstract Submission Guidelines
1. Abstract Submission Platform: Abstracts must be submitted through the online submission platform available on the conference website. Abstracts submitted via any other method will not be considered, with the exception of outstanding PhD students and early-career scientists applying for the Epstein Awarded Presentations selection.
2. Abstract Content:
- Title: Clear and concise.
- Authors: Please provide the full names of all authors, with the presenting author clearly indicated in bold.
- Affiliations: Include the institutions and locations of all authors, with the presenter’s email address in parentheses.
- Abstract Text: Should not exceed 400 words, including any acknowledgments (optional). Please note that tables and images are not allowed.
- Keywords: Provide five keywords in alphabetical order, separated by semicolons.
- Optional: Acknowledgments my include information on funding agencies and grants.
3. Language: Abstracts must be submitted in English.
4. File Format: Abstracts should be prepared in MS Word format and then uploaded to the abstract submission system.
- Use a regular 11-point Times Roman font for text.
- The title and presentig author’s name should be in bold.
- Use single line spacing.
- Italicize Latin names.

5. Presenting Author Registration: The presenting author must be a registered participant. Please note that registration is separate from abstract submission and must be completed before the deadline. For registration, please click here.
6. Confirmation will be automatically generated once the abstract file has been successfully uploaded.
